BIOS 設定後 Camera 無法啟動，關於 IO Expander 的問題

您好，我目前在使用 Technexion 的 MIPI Camera TEVS-AR0234 模組，系統為AAEON Up Squared Pro 7000。該 Camera 連接了一個 IO Expander，並在 BIOS 中進行了相應的設定。

問題出現在 BIOS 設定後，Camera 無法順利啟動（無法點亮）。過去在 ARM 系統中，我們會將這類設備寫入 Device tree 來實現啟動。但在 BIOS 中，無法確認該設備是否已被正確掛載。

目前嘗試的方法是進入 Ubuntu 後，強制使用 Driver 將該設備掛載，才能讓 Camera 正常工作。

想請教的是：

在 BIOS 中，應該如何確保 IO Expander 相關設備被正確掛載？
是否有其他 BIOS 設定需要特別注意，來確保 Camera 可以正常啟動？

PICO-TGU4 how to update bios?

Hi!

I have a PICO-TGU4 board and i need to update the bios, so i created a usb key as described here https://forum.aaeon-community.com/discussion/39/update-bios-through-uefi-shell

but I doesn't work, it will not boot the uefi shell from the key and always come back to the bios settings...

But the key is recognized as uefi
What am i missing ?

Enable SPI on Up Squared LoRa

Hi,

I have an Up Squared LoRa Gateway (https://up-shop.org/up-systems/292-up-squared-lora-edge-computing.html).
I followed the instructions here https://wiki.up-community.org/Ubuntu and here https://wiki.up-community.org/Pinout_UP2#SPI_Ports to install Ubuntu and to enable SPI, but without success.

I can't find anything related to SPI when I list /dev/

I have an other same board, but where the OS was already pre-installed and I have no problem with it. I probably do something wrong during the installation..

I am planning to build-up an IIoT automation controller based on APL4 (the two GbLAN helps a lot).
I want to mix the data acquisition from existing sensors and from new added detectors.
I will come back later to the bigger picture about my project.

At the moment, I want to verify the feasibility of interfacing I2C sensors: so, what's the frequency of the I2C bus on APL4?
Are you aware of any limitation under Ubuntu? (not final choice, but the easiest for the PoC)

Added support for Yocto 2.3 pyro on AAEON Community Pico boards

All Pico boards available in the AAEON Community are supported in Yocto 2.3 pyro using the meta-layer available on Github: https://github.com/emutex/meta-aaeonc/tree/pyro

With the Yocto build system you can create a custom distribution tailored for any vertical application using the many software solutions already integrated into the Yocto build system.
You can find more information on the official Yocto website.
And a list of the available software from this repository: https://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/pyro/layers/

The supported kernel is 4.9 LTS from the Intel Yocto branch, where have been added the necessary patches to enable all the functionalities of the boards.
