Hello AAEON Support and Community,
I am using a NanoCOM-KBU-A20COM Express Type 10 module installed on a Connect Tech CCG022 carrier board.
I recently attempted to update the BIOS on the module. Unfortunately, after the update process, the system no longer boots. There is no video output (black screen via HDMI/DDIO), and the system does not POST. The power circuits seem fine, as the PGOOD LED on the carrier board lights up normally.
Here is what I have already tried to revive the board:
Disconnected the power, then removed the BIOS/RTC battery on the carrier board, and then turned the power back on.
This did not work, which leads me to believe the SPI flash is corrupted.
I have a few questions:
- Is there any built-in "Crisis Recovery" mode for this board (e.g., using a specific USB drive setup and hotkeys during boot)?
- If hardware flashing is the only way, could you please provide a board diagram or a photo pointing to the exact physical location of the SPI EEPROM chip on the PCB?
- Could you provide a working BIOS dump (.bin/.rom) for the NanoCOM-KBU-A20 so I can flash it externally with a CH341A programmer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
